St. Paul’s Academy
As an independent ecumenical day school rooted in the Christian tradition and affirming all faiths, St. Paul’s is committed to social responsibility, a respect for diversity, a passion for learning, the formation of character, the teaching of virtue, and spiritual growth. Such commitments are the hallmark of our heritage, and guide our life together.
Mission
The mission of St. Paul’s Academy is to provide each student with a traditional and rigorous academic program, to encourage achievement, to emphasize leadership, service and moral development, and to instill in each student an active respect for all members of the community.
St. Paul’s Academy endeavors to inspire in each student a genuine love of life-long learning. We focus on excellence in academics, spiritual growth, and the development of an appreciation for the arts. We place a strong emphasis on building personal responsibility for one’s self and community, and character.
St. Paul’s Academy equips students with academic skills, enhances their ability to think critically, and enables them to solve problems in their daily lives and to develop a thirst for knowledge. The School offers students a traditional education in a structured environment that supports the self-esteem and individuality of each child. Our small class sizes greatly enhance our ability to provide personal attention that helps children realize their potential.
St. Paul’s Academy does not discriminate on the basis of religion, color, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship or other school administered programs.
Tuition at St. Paul’s Academy covers only approximately 80% of the cost of educating each student. We rely on fund-raising to bridge the gap between the tuition paid and the actual cost of educating each student.
The Salute Auction, our largest fund-raiser of the year, benefits the school in many ways. Money raised goes to the general operating fund, student international travel, PALS, and often a special project- such as building a new upper school.
