Wine Toss

$25 gets you 3 chances. We will have numerous bottles of wine set up in a carnival game fashion. This will be a chance for you to win bottles of wine by tossing a ring! That's right--this will be a ring toss. You will go after wines ranging from $10 to $150 value. The high end bottles of wine will be marked with a special tag. We are thrilled to offer this special game to our guests! We hope you participate in this fun opportunity. Ready...Set...Aim!

The Golden Ticket

$100 per entry. The Golden Ticket is a special drawing where guests purchase tickets at $100 per entry. We will limit the number of entries to 300. The winning entry will be able to choose either a one year tuition or one of three items in the live auction. We will have live auction items ranging in value from $500 - $5000 and more. The winner of the Golden Ticket event will be announced at the start of the live auction. Look for the WONKA bars!

Randy Walker Art Centerpieces

Specially commissioned for SALUTE 2008 by glass artist Randy Walker. Randy's work is exhibited nationally, as well as in France and Canada.

About the Artist: A 1981 graduate of Oklahoma State University, Randy Walker now lives in Bellingham, Washington. Randy first came to Pilchuck Glass school in 1989 as a student and has worked every summer for Pilchuck as staff, faculty member or craftsman since 1990. During the school's off season, Randy makes his work in Pilchuck's hot shop. He has been a principal member of the William Morris blowing team for sixteen years, helping to make some of the world's most innovative glass works. For the past decade, Randy has been a frequent faculty member at Pilchuck and has taught workshops in Canada, Japan, New Zealand and across the United States. In 2006 he was a featured demonstrating artist at the International Glass Art Society conference.
